Tea Bread with Lemon and Dried Fruit
Juicy and refreshing, sweet fruit bread!


7 oz (200 g) flour,
1 baking powder,
a pinch of salt,
8.4 oz (250 ml) of yoghurt,
7 oz (200 g) sugar,
3 eggs,
bark of one lemon,
1 tablespoon vanilla extract or vanilla stick,,
4 oz (120 ml) oil,
dried fruit.


Juice of one lemon,
powdered sugar.


Mix flour, baking powder and salt in one, and the eggs, sugar, yogurt, lemon bark and vanilla in another bowl. Then slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Oil carefully stir in the prepared mixture and gently stir until well combined with the rest of the ingredients. Add dried fruit.
Baking pan cover with parchment paper, pour the mixture into it and bake at 302 °F(150 °C) for about 50 minutes (check with a toothpick). For the glaze, mix lemon juice with the powdered sugar, the amount of sugar depends on the desired density of the glaze….
