Delicious Pie with Nuts and Coconut
One of those old-fashioned, simple cakes that remind me of my childhood and A very simple!


1 cup= 8.4 oz (250 ml),
7.9 oz (225 grams) butter-room temperature,
1/2 cup oil,
1.5 cup sugar,
2 teaspoon vanilla extract,
peel of one lemon,
4 eggs,
1/2 cup milk,
1 cup sour cream,
3 cups flour,
2 teaspoon baking powder,
1/2 teaspoon salt.

For charging: 

2 cup ground walnuts,
1 cup coconut,
1 cup brown sugar,
3 small spoons of rum,
2 teaspoon cinnamon,
1/2 cup milk

And more:

3-4 tablespoons powdered sugar


Good whisk the butter, oil, vanilla and sugar. With gently mixing add one by one egg, sour cream, lemon peel and milk. When all united add flour mixed with baking powder and salt. Mix all the ingredients for the filling and set aside. In a greased baking pan, shake about 3/4 of the dough.

Prepared stuffing mix with the rest of the dough and slowly spread over the first part. If you have a problem to spread it, spread it with a wet spatula by little water. Bake in a preheated oven at 356 ºF(180 ºC) for 35-40 minutes, depending on the oven. Check with toothpick if roasted. Finished pie sprinkled with powdered sugar.
